Tuesday, May 10, 2022

The following Brown Bag has been CANCELLED

The Eastern District of New York Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Subcommittee on Mediation will host a virtual brown bag lunch webinar on June 14, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EDT and will explore in a brief vignette style with some discussion overlay, how and when disputes can be sent to Mediation.  The panel members will explore some of the concerns and questions that parties may work through in considering Mediation as an option to resolve a pending dispute, while some of the Judges in our District will share the considerations they give in raising Mediation as an option and the mechanics of the referral process. We hope that this continued exploration of Mediation as a tool will better educate practitioners on considering it as an option to assist their clients.
