Please join the Chapter 11 Lawyers Advisory Committee of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York on March 26, 2021 - 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM for a virtual brown bag luncheon on "Mediating a Fraudulent Conveyance Action:  A View from the Inside."

Registration Deadline is March 19, 2021.

In this interactive role-play program, experienced litigators and dispute resolution experts Leslie Berkoff and Andrew Thaler will join Hon. Alan Trust and Hon. Louis Scarcella (in the role of clients) and Hon. Elizabeth Stong (in the role of mediator) in a mock mediation of a high-stakes fraudulent conveyance action.

The program will address how to prepare your client and present your case in mediation.  It will also highlight key points including best practices for remaining settlement-focused, overcoming impasse, needs versus interests, risk analysis, and best and worst alternatives to a negotiated settlement.
