The U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York has implemented the Electronic Self-Representation program (“eSR”). eSR is an online tool to help individuals (only) complete a Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition. It guides them step-by-step through the process, creates most of the forms needed for filing, performs all calculations, and allows them to electronically submit the petition package to the court.
