A Virtual Brown Bag Discussion on: A Series of Unfortunate Events: Errors in Consumer Practice and Ways to Try to Avoid Them - December 15, 2021 at 8:30 a.m.

The Mentoring Subcommittee of the Consumer Lawyers’ Advisory Committee of the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York will co-host with our Court a virtual brown bag discussion on: A Series of Unfortunate Events:  Errors in Consumer Practice and Ways to Try to Avoid Them. This program will be on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.  A number of presenters including the Honorable Chief Judge Alan S. Trust, the Honorable Elizabeth S. Stong, attorneys from the United States Trustee's Office, trustees, the pro-se law clerk and attorneys who represent debtors and creditors will discuss various errors in consumer bankruptcy practice and give guidance on how to try to avoid them.

The program will be held on the Zoom video and audio conference platform.  Meeting invitation details will be sent two days before the program to those who register.  The Registration deadline is December 10, 2021.
