During the partial government shutdown that began December 21, 2018, the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York, will remain open for business as usual. Hearings and trials will continue without interruption. Applications, hearings and other matters may be scheduled with the Court as usual. Public access to the Court, whether in person or through the Court’s electronic filing system, will not be affected.

With respect to 341 Meetings of Creditors, the US Trustee advises that Chapter 7, 11 and 13 meetings will continue as scheduled.
