NOTICE

Effective immediately, the United States Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District of New York will issue passwords to attorneys without the requirement of the attorney attending in-person ECF classroom training.

However, we strongly encourage all new account holders and their support staff to attend an in-person training class. The classes provide an overview to filing on-line and give best practice tips for the Eastern District. Our ECF training classes consist of a judge, attorney and United States Trustee, who will provide the framework of Bankruptcy practices within the district, along with a hands-on demonstration of how to use the ECF system by a court facilitator.

Attorneys will receive three CLE credits for participation in the training class.
